This is our “LIFE” room as it features a collection of LIFE magazine covers from 1893 through the 1920s. The custom cornices of the window treatments echo the curves of the iron headboards and bring a modern twist to the Jacobean floral pattern featuring robust colors of orange and palm green. This room gets and abundance of afternoon sunlight from its five west-facing windows. This beautiful room is the largest guest room currently available and it is an absolutely dreamy choice for a romantic vacation getaways to Maine. This room is decorated in a rich tapestry of colors featuring walls painted a deep gold, navy wingback chairs, claret bedding and a custom tapestry window treatment that pulls all of these colors together. The bathroom has a oversized luxury bath with whirlpool tub and shower combo. The focal point of the room is a massive antique king-size bed that will make you feel like royalty!

This luxury queen-room located on the second floor of the Rockland Talbot House is a staff and guest favorite. The cheery hazel blue wall paint is accented by pops of magenta, teal blue and creams from the custom window treatments and bedding to give the room a fun and relaxing vibe. There is lots of natural light from the oversized windows that face south and west and a luxury whirlpool tub and shower combo. Grab your favorite book and sink into relaxation mode.

This popular guest room is located on the second floor of our Midcoast Maine inn and offers a modern take on the French Country style with its décor of navy, white and royal blue. The wall décor features a playful but soothing blue tone which highlights the original oak floors and pops with the custom paisley window treatments. The sweet crystal chandelier that hangs from the original plaster ceiling medallion sparkles with the natural light from the two oversized windows face east and south. Glamming never felt so good!

Located entirely on the main level, this room bypasses the stairs completely and features a beautiful, spacious bathroom designed for total peace of mind.
As this is our only first-floor guest room, please only book this room if you have mobility challenges or if it is our last room available.

This first-floor queen room at Rockland Talbot House is decorated in a historic palette featuring taupe, turquoise, chocolate brown and ivory tones accented with a contemporary pattern. It offers ADA lodging accommodations designed to make handicapped accessible travel to Rockland and Camden, Maine both comfortable, upscale and pretty. The large luxury threshold-less shower has double shower heads and a rain shower.

This spacious guest room is located at the back of the house on the second floor. The room features a queen-size mahogany sleigh bed with reading lights and a room divider that separates the sleeping area from the sitting area. The separate sitting area offers a twin sleeper sofa which can be used as a second bed. The décor offers relaxing tones of sage green, grey and cream softened by the three large windows that allow plenty of natural light. A wonderful choice for a sisters’ getaway or a small family of three traveling together.
